Jana van Geest - Cruel But Beautiful Director, Omnipotent Co-Producer

Jana is ridiculously happy to be directing this fine production. Other fine productions blessed with her directorial input include Concordia University's 2003 production of the Vagina Monologues; numerous productions with Y.A.K. Company in Kingston, among them Snow White and A Look All Her Own; and a completely unauthorized abridged stage version of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, in which she also played King Arthur. Among Jana's favourite credits is Embracing Margarine, an original and critically acclaimed production in which she acted, assistant directed, and helped to write the script. Jana has also been recently seen on stage as "Soup" and "Old lady" in Myths of the Metropolis: Montréal. Look for her work next as assistant director of Concordia's Masque of the Red Death with Robert Astle in December 2003.When not paying homage to her theatre demons, Jana enjoys chasing baboons on a pogo stick. She extends thanks to the lovely cast and crew of No Cycle, Harry Standjofski, and those who worked on the Vagina Monologues.

Felicity Crew - Stage Manager Extraordinaire

In between copious amounts of Buffy and Angel viewing, Felicity has somehow managed to stage manage No Cycle. She is a seasoned veteran of the Montreal amateur theatre scene, having previously acted as stage manager on Never Swim Alone, The House of Yes, the world premiere of The Utilizers, and the “so bad it sells out every night” Fringe 2001 production of Symposium, a musical adaptation of the similarly-named Plato work. More recently, she has moved into the field of design, acting as the incredibly organised costume designer for Private Lives and the forthcoming Dogg’s Hamlet and Cahoot’s Macbeth. Other future projects include stage managing the Montreal premiere of The Bible: The Complete Word of God (abridged), at Players’ Theatre this November. Outside of the Montreal theatre scene, Felicity has worked on such productions as the U.S. tour of Stomp!, and was the literature assistant for the Tony Award winning McCarter Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey. In other news, she is about to complete a double major in English Literature and Drama and Theatre at McGill University. She would like to thank the wonderful cast and crew (especially Jana), Grant, and the cat.

Jenn Woo - Virtuoso Set and Costume Designer

Jenn is in her final year at Concordia's design for the theatre program. Originally a sculpture student, she finds designing for the theatre a great new challenge. She was set designer for Myths of the Metropolis: Montreal shown at Concordia University this past spring. This is her first time designing costumes for the theatre.

Sarah Mansikka - Powerhouse Lighting Designer

Sarah is entering her final year of the theater design program at Concordia University. Previously Sarah co-designed the costumes for Concordia’s production of Celery Stalks at Midnight. She also designed an adaptation of Here Lies Henry directed by Sabina Sariyska. Next, she will design lighting for the Concordia production of Masque of the Red Death in the fall of 2003.

Evie Farmer - Deified Co-Producer

This is Evie Farmer's first venture into the wild and crazy world of fundraising and publicity. She would like to sum up this adventure as follows: "Fundraising is like cruising, if you don't ask, you don't get any." -Peter Fox (The Dirty Old Fruit Lady) That said, she's having a great time honing her skills in this area, which will be invaluable to her in her career as a filmmaker. Evie has produced two short films this year within Concordia University's Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema, [dis]connection, and Winter Portrait. Evie's other interests include electroacoustic music, visual arts, writing, and dropping banana peels in front of Jana's pogo stick. Evie would like to thank her roommate for post-postering massages, and everyone on the cast and crew for all of the time and effort they have put in to get this show off the ground.

Coming soon ... Luna Allison - Dance Choreographer, Michelle Folliot - Sound Designer, Nancy Lombart - Assistant Costume Designer, Mona Gardyne - Assistant Director.
